Passages to strength
Come in many forms and lengths,
the biggest lessons learned
Appear only when earned,
When fate turns Its back on you,
and I question how and why,
Will she die?
How many tears are we able to cry?
The questions never seem to subside,
She's a fighter and with a strong will,
Yet she suffers from a disease that will kill
With no prejudice or bias,
to the creator is ready to guide us
But she doesn't give up and will fight
she's not ready to see the light,
this experience will helps us see
that it is not about her or me – it is about we,
We refused to see more people deceased !!!
SHE IS NOW FREE
And yet we still feel the pain,
And it’s amazing how we now have smiles instead of tears,
We now hope…instead of fear
And I pray that my clamor everyone can hear,
We stared Cancer right in the face
With lots of anger but also with faith
And told it to get the fuck out of this place!!!!!
